1922 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate, designed by Achton Friis, has the title Star of Bethlehem. Bing & Grondahl’s Christmas plate from 1922 depicts the star of Bethlehem. Seve- ral other Christmas plates have had this star as a central element, for instance the 1901 plate with the three wise men, and a number of Royal Copenhagen’s Christmas plates. According to tradition this star was the star that led the three wise men to the Jesus child.
